Anon is Anall III – Exhibition opening in Glor – Ennis in November 2012
For this exhibition I was partnered with Siobhan Peoples and she presented to me an absolutely beautiful tune called “Na Ceithre Cuainne” in English “The Four Corners”. When I first heard this tune, the sea automatically came to mind in particular the West Coast of Clare, with its turbulant seascapes, grey black skys, monsterous waves and crying seagulls, nothing but pure raw power. The above quicktime movie has images of Co Clare seascapes with Siobhans tune as the soundtrack. I am in the process of carving a series of wooden sculptures and will be creating quicktime movies of the sculpting of these sculptures. These images will be loaded up in the following weeks.
